Summer of Rock is a summer music program focused on giving students the opportunity to play and perform in a real “rock and roll” band! Students play a variety of instruments and learn the skills necessary to be in a band, such as leadership, performance, teamwork, and the art of rocking out!
What you need to know:
Deposit: $100 - Due at sign-up (refundable through 6/19/26)
Total Cost: $375 - Remaining $275 due 6/19/26
Sibling Discount: $50 per additional sibling
First week of practice: Monday 6/16/26
Concert Details: Sat. 8/8/26, 4:30 pm at Hilltop Ski Area (7015 Abbott Rd, Anchorage, AK 99507)
Dress Rehearsal Details: Fri. 8/7/26, 4:30 pm at Organic Oasis
Rehearsals are held once a week at the Turnagain Arts Building for one hour. 6-8 rehearsals are included.
Summer of Rock is open to all students actively enrolled in private lessons.
Students must be able to attend 80% of rehearsals.
